Self-Guided Tour
NEW THIS SEAON - Discover our fully reimagined Self-Guided Tour experience! This bilingual tour option is suitable for all ages and lets you explore the jail at your own pace. Follow a clear, easy-to-use map through winding corridors and cell blocks, while thoughtfully curated exhibits reveal the site’s rich and fascinating history.
Guided Tour
For those seeking a more immersive, story-driven experience, guided tours are offered daily at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Led by our knowledgeable student guides, these tours run approximately 1 to 1.5 hours and bring the Jail’s history to life. Recommended for ages 12 and up, tickets should be purchased in advance to secure your spot. Tours are conducted in English; to arrange a French tour, please contact the Jail ahead of your visit.
Accessible Tour
An accessible tour option is available for those who wish to explore the jail’s history from the comfort of the Courthouse. Accessed by elevator and led by one of our knowledgeable student guides, this engaging presentation features images, video, and compelling stories from the Jail’s past. Accessible tours must be arranged in advance of your visit by contacting the Jail.
